| View in browser A playground is a place of wonder. As a kid, I remember running wild, exasperated, leaping from long swings to spinning carousels, scaling jungle gyms, clinging dearly to whatever-you-call-that-one-fast-and-kinda-scary-zipline thing. I’d push my tolerance for risk, imagine infinite worlds of creativity, dig for excuses to feed to my folks that might buy me just one-last-pinky-promise excursion down the tallest slide.   Playgrounds are where you learn you’re capable of more than you thought. All it takes is a little bravery and big dreams. Mux Robots is tall enough for the big slide now. The v1 API is stable and workflows are production-ready so you and your coding agent can rely on the results. GA also brings two new workflows: analyze-structure returns a title, summary, tags, chapters, scenes, and key moments in one pass. It can also write the title and chapters straight back onto your asset. generate-contextual-text turns one video into the written pieces around it: social posts, blog posts, even newsletter blurbs (no, it didn't write this one). Everything it writes sticks to what the video actually says in it. Read the GA announcement    You don't have to give up playing just because you're no longer skinning your knees on layers of mulch. The Mux Robots playground in your dashboard lets you run any workflow on your own video and see the results. When you like what you see, it hands you a prompt for your coding agent to build the integration.   Romp around the Mux Robots Playground Video.js: the Documentary CultRepo made a film about Video.js, the web’s most-used open-source video player (created by one of our co-founders). The trailer drops today at 11:30 a.m. PST, and the full film premieres Thursday 11/5 at 10:30 a.m. PST.   Check it out on CultRepo’s YouTube channel   Video.js v10 has been completely rebuilt for agent compatibility and went GA on 10/1. Read the post In the sandbox Mux prompt library: Helps spell out the rules of the park and tells agents which features matter most when building common video use cases. Frames, shots, and scenes: Mux Robots AI workflows can be run on individual frames all the way up to full scenes. Here’s how. Increasing impact: Change.org brings friends together and uses supporter videos to turn signatures into stories. Spending alerts: Get an email before bot traffic or a forgotten test stream loses your lunch money. You’re never too old to play Now, I’m the parent standing with the coffee at the playground, and I’m still having just as much fun. Are you? Sometimes we get swept up in the newest tech, or swirled around by the speed at which the world moves. Don’t forget why you landed where you are: you were curious, excited by the possibilities, hungry for adventure. Turns out, not much has changed since we were younger, has it?   Find some time to let yourself play today.   See you at the top, Dave and the Mux rascals Unsubscribe or Update email preferences Mux, Inc. 88 Stevenson St., San Francisco, CA 94105 |
